Northern Pines Taxidermy started in 1990 with one Taxidermist, Steve DeVaney, working in an 800 square ft. building.
Steve’s love for the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, gave him the desire to share that with people around him, through with taxidermy work.
Steve has competed, and won many state, and world competitions over the years. In 1997, he began doing wholesale work for other taxidermist in Michigan, and has been expanding over the years all thought out the states.
Northern Pines has grown from 1 employee to currently 15 employees working in 13,000+ square ft. buildings.
